Edward Cullen serenaded by Mum of two
A MOTHER who wrote a song about her teenage daughter’s crush on the star of a vampire film has seen it become a internet smash hit.
Sarah Barry Williams who works as a Cabaret singer living in Swansea, recorded a song to tease her 16 year old daughter Chariss about a crush on an actor from the popular films Twilight. Chariss crush is on the British actor Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen in the new Twilight film: New Moon.
The mother of two recorded the infamous song in her own living room and posted it online, before soon the hits went through the roof and it became an internet sensation. She named the song – She Wants To Be Mrs Robert Pattinson which is available on youtube to view and on iTunes.
The song has proven to be so popular Sarah called in some help to record a professional version of the song.
Sarah said: “Teenage girls and their mums completely fall in love with the characters – Edward Cullen is a bit like Mr Darcy.”
The Twilight-themed song has been such a hit, it can now be downloaded on iTunes.
Her daughter was slightly embaressed by the song making fun of her crush but remained proud of her mother.
“It was a bit embarrassing, but she’s got a great voice.”
